As the 2010 North Carolina white water rafting season fast approaches, we here at Blue Heron Whitewater are moving forward with the construction of our new facilities. It has been a wet 
winter, which is good for rafting but not so good for building. We got a break in the weather the other day allowing some heavy machinery to come in and start our site preparation.
Don't worry, we are still able to run trips. We have run several alre
ady and with all this moisture whitewater rafting on the French Broad River is as fun as ever. We will be running our rafting trips out of the temporary structures we had in place last year. As our new building rises out of the ashes of the old chicken barn join us for a fantastic NC rafting trip though the Appalachian Mountains of Madison County North Carolina. And please pardon the mess.
