Family Rafting North Carolina

Today is September 4 and it's a beautiful clear day here on the French Broad River near Asheville, NC. After a crisp and cool morning the sun warmed thing up nicely and we here at Blue Heron Whitewater and our guests headed for the river. There is a hint of fall in the air and some leaves have started changing color already due to the drought. In this photo you can see a hint of the coming explosion of color. Now is the time to make plans to enjoy the fall colors from the river. It's a unique and intimate way for you and your family to view the spectacular colors along the French Broad River.
