Blue Heron Whitewater

It's mid-April and work continues on our new facility. After three months of weather delays we have been able to get the foundation set and are now working on the floor. We are trying to be as environmentally responsible as we can with this building. To that end we are using a product called "Trex" for the parts of the floor that will be decking. Trex is produced with recycled plastic (7 out of every 10 recycled plastic bags), and wood waste (sawdust, used pallets, and reclaimed wood from woodworking operations).
The weather has been fantastic and we are running whitewater rafting trips on the French Broad River. When you show up for your trip please excuse the construction zone. We are getting this building up and ready as quickly as possible.
