Blue Heron Whitewater

After a wonderful day of white water rafting on North Carolina's French Broad River we enjoyed the beauty of an evening filled with the timeless and haunting beauty of mountain music. Many thanks to Spring's friends, 3 Penny Acre. The band honored us by kicking off their latest tour with a concert at Blue Heron Whitewater's new outpost. (We haven't moved yet, but we are getting close.) The evening started out a little rainy, but the rain stopped, the moon and the fireflies came out, and there was music in the cool august air.
